Holiday Inn Carlsbad/San Diego, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is extremely nice and great for traveling with kids. There is a play area with games, golf, basketball court and a pool. They sell beach necessities in the lobby, which is added convenience. There is also a bar and restaurant named Stratus, which was pretty tasty. The hotel is directly across the street from other restaurants, so that was an added bonus. Target is also a mile away.

We visit Cbad often...this was our first time at this hotel. It is absolutely spotless. It smells clean, the rooms are generously sized. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and made an effort to remember our names and what we were doing in town. There's a mini fridge, hair dryer and coffee pot in the room...restaurant and a little store in the lobby. The pillows are huge and comfortable...nice comfy bed and linens. Truly a great place to stay.

The highlight of my experience was the customer service piece at the Front Desk with Luke! Luke helped me on several occasions to help meet my expectations and created a great experience for me! Super awesome guy and each day greeted me with a friendly face! Thanks again Luke!!!

The ground were clean, many things to do without having to leave the hotel. The bed was comfortable, blackout curtains a plus. tv channel selection was better then average. Enjoyed breakfast each morning missed the buffet style, I understand the reasoning behind it. Going to the spa in the eve was great.
